Water Safety at Pool Parties

At pool parties the atmosphere will generally be of mayhem. Children are usually excited and very difficult to control. In a normal school pool we would not be happy with less than 2 lifeguards present and a maximum of 20 children in the pool at any one time.

We would think long and hard about letting our children go off to a pool party with anyone else unless the pool and arrangements had been checked.
If your child is a none swimmer go along and help be an extra pair of eyes.

Be aware of children playing on the large rafts with arm bands on if it turns over they can get trapped by the armbands under the water .We do not allows our non- swimmers to play on the large raft for this reason.

Parents do consider the responsibilities of having a pool party or sending your child to one.
